Yen Press describes the plot as:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>In a world where the Demon King has died, a host of demigods capable of felling him have inherited the world. A master fencer who can figure out how to take out their opponents with a single glance; a lancer so swift they can break the sound barrier; a wyvern rogue who fights with three legendary weapons at once; an all-powerful wizard who can speak thoughts into being; an angelic assassin who deals instant death. Eager to attain the title of \u201cTrue Hero,\u201d these champions each pursue challenges against formidable foes and spark conflicts among themselves. The battle to determine the mightiest of the mighty begins.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em>Ishura\u00a0<\/em>was originally a web novel that began serialization on Kakuyomu and Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2017. The light novels, which are published under the Dengeki no Shinbungei label, have inspired a manga adaptation by\u00a0<strong>Meguri<\/strong>. <em>Ishura <\/em>was<span style=\"color: initial\"> the first-ranked title in This Light Novel is Amazing 2021\u2019s tankoubon\/novels category.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The anime will be streamed by Hulu in the US and on Disney+ for the rest of the world.
