\n He inadvertently spilled the beans on the iconic scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Sopranos\u201d creator David Chase accidentally spoiled the infamously cryptic series<\/a> finale during a leaked interview for \u201cThe Sopranos Sessions,\u201d his upcoming book celebrating he Emmy-winning HBO mob drama, reports the Independent.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the end of 2007\u2019s final episode, titled \u201cMade In America,\u201d Tony Soprano (played by the late James Gandolfini) is eating out with his family amid a turf war between the New Jersey and New York mafia families while an enemy hitman waits in their midst.<\/p>\n

The screen then fades to black as Journey\u2019s \u201cDon\u2019t Stop Believin\u2019 blares on the soundtrack, leaving it ambiguous whether the show\u2019s star gets whacked \u2014 until now.<\/p>\n

Spoiler alert: In the roundtable discussion, co-author Alan Sepinwall asked Chase, \u201cWhen you said there was an end point, you don\u2019t mean Tony at Holsten\u2019s [the diner], you just meant, \u2018I think I have two more years\u2019 worth of stories left in me.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

Then, Chase, 74, dropped the bombshell: \u201cYes, I think I had that death scene around two years before the end \u2026 But we didn\u2019t do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noticing his epic leak, co-author Matt Zoller Seitz chimed in: \u201cYou realize, of course, that you just referred to that as a death scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cF\u2013k you guys,\u201d replied Chase upon realizing his blunder.<\/p>\n

Indeed, in one fell swoop the mob show boss retrospectively spoiled a plot point that\u2019s been debated for years by everyone from The Post to the \u201cThe Sopranos\u201d stars themselves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s hoping Chase\u2019s goof doesn\u2019t have spoiler implications for the \u201cSopranos\u201d prequel \u201cThe Many Saints Of Newark,\u201d which is slated to be released on March 12, 2021.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
