Conway The Machine and Swizz Beatz have some new heat coming, and fans couldn\u2019t be more excited about the prospect.<\/p>\n

The Buffalo native took to his Instagram Live on Friday (December 29) to preview some new heat with the former Ruff Ryders producer.<\/p>\n

Though Conway The Machine didn\u2019t give any details as to when the new music would be dropping, or even the name of the track, fans clearly were delighted about the prospect of the pair working together.<\/p>\n

On Friday (December 29), Conway The Machine teamed up with Westside Gunn and The Alchemist to drop the original version of the trio\u2019s scrapp<\/a>ed project\u00a0Hall & Nash 2<\/em> as a physical release, which was subsequently\u00a0added to streaming services.<\/p>\n

The album was originally intended as a follow-up to Gunn and Conway\u2019s 2016 project\u00a0Hall & Nash<\/em><\/a>. Over the years, several songs originally intended for\u00a0the sequel have ended up on other projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cRay Mysterio\u201d was on The Alchemist\u2019s 2018\u00a0Bread<\/em>\u00a0EP<\/a>, \u201cFork In the Pot\u201d and \u201c94 Ghost Shit\u201d were\u00a0released as a double-sided single that same year<\/a>, while \u201cJudas\u201d popped up on Alc\u2019s 2018\u00a0Lunch Meat<\/em>\u00a0EP<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The instrumental for \u201cFuck & Get High\u201d also appeared on a\u00a02019 installment of the producer\u2019s\u00a0Rapper\u2019s Best Friend<\/em>\u00a0series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Alchemist was recently crowned\u00a0HipHopDX<\/em>\u2018s Producer of the Year.<\/p>\n

As for Swizz Beatz, he revealed to HipHopDX <\/em>last month that he has enough material to put together a follow-up to DMX\u2019s 2021 LP Exodus<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 but whether that will happen has yet to be decided.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have other songs. Can we make a new X album? For sure,\u201d he said. \u201cWill I make another X album? I don\u2019t know. It has to feel good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swizz, who collaborated with X on a number of hits including \u201cRuff Ryders\u2019 Anthem,\u201d also explained the softer sound of Exodus<\/em>, which was recorded before the Yonkers native died but released after his death.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Exodus<\/em>], he produced and had all of the direction. A lot of people wanted to see X go harder, stronger \u2014 they even blamed me for it. But it\u2019s actually what he wanted to do,\u201d the beatmaker said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was like, \u2018Yo, I don\u2019t wanna shoot up and kill everybody in a verse \u2014 that\u2019s not what I\u2019m doing.\u2019 He was preparing to go to the next level and do TV shows and he was preparing to graduate his brand.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cAnd so this is why he refrained from doing a bunch of aggressive songs [\u2026] It was just a different vibe.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the music that X really listened to that people don\u2019t know. They think he was just listening to \u2018shoot \u2019em up, bang, bang\u2019 music all day.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never heard him listening to that type of music; I always heard X listening to old classics, amazing music. And I felt that he was at a point in his life where he was like, \u2018I want to change up the energy.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
