At one point in the night, her DJ began playing the 2012 song, but after unenthusiastically r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ing a few lines, the <em>Pink Friday 2<\/em> rapper stopped the song all together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSike, sike, sike,\u201d she said to the disappointed crowd. \u201cI don\u2019t perform that song no more, y\u2019all! I don\u2019t like it! In a 2020 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/genius.com\/a\/nicki-minaj-admits-to-hating-anaconda-starships-your-love\">Q&amp;A panel appearance with Pollstar Live<\/a>, Minaj questioned why she ever made \u201cStarships\u201d while also saying she wished she never recorded her 2014 hit single, \u201cAnaconda.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo much of my discography,\u201d she said when asked which of her songs she regrets. \u201cI wish I never recorded \u2018Anaconda.\u2019 I like the video but, ugh. My first ever solo song on Billboard was \u2018Your Love.\u2019 To this day I like the video but I hate the song. I could go on and on. I hate \u2018Starships,\u2019 I mean ew, \u2018Starships?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Why did I do that?\u2019 I really think that every time I hear it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 9x platinum \u201cStarships\u201d peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a huge hit for Nicki Minaj \u00b1 but it became a huge point of contention between her and Hot 97 personality Peter Rosenberg months after its release.<\/p>\n<p>While addressing the crowd at 2012 Summer Jam, the radio host called the track \u201cone of the most sellout songs in Hip Hop history,\u201d which led to Minaj canceling her scheduled performance at the annual festival that day.<\/p>\n<p>The pair went on to have beef for some time after that, but eventually patched things up a year later when <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=J7KC4kL5CE8\">Minaj visited Hot 97 once again<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In more recent <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>, Nicki Minaj made history on the Billboard Hot 100 following the release of her new album <em>Pink Friday 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>Chart Data<\/em>, Nicki\u2019s latest project has become the female rap album with the highest number of songs to appear on the Hot 100, with 17 of its 22 tracks landing on the chart.<\/p>\n<p>The historic milestone comes shortly after Nicki Minaj broke a separate record on the Billboard 200.
