50 Cent is less than unenthusiastic about the news<\/a> that California is now the first state in the country to offer health insurance to all illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n

Starting this year, 750k adults between the ages of 26 and 49 years old are now eligible for Medi-Cal benefits in the state according to KCRA<\/a><\/em> \u2013 of course as long as they meet the same requirements in place for citizens, which include residence in California and income under a certain amount.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday (January 3), 50 wrote: \u201cI don\u2019t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars for tax payers. They don\u2019t even give veterans health insurance. @arimelber call my phone now, help me understand this shit. WTF.\u201d<\/p>\n

One person in the comments replied<\/a>: \u201cBut if they\u2019re illegal most of them can\u2019t work 5th unless they have received their asylum seeking credentials. So if they\u2019re going to be here regardless minds well be healthy. Do, understand the rich are rich because of the money spent by the poor, not the rich.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another said: \u201cSo it\u2019s ok for them to clean your homes, hotels, and make your food but not ok for them to be healthy while doing it? Healthcare should be a human right. Period.\u201d<\/p>\n
