We wondered if any of the A-listers mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong> docs would release statements.<\/p>\n

One movie star whose name came up was\u00a0Cameron Diaz<\/strong>. We still don\u2019t really know for sure why. But it\u2019s clear she wants everyone to know she did NOT know this man. Her rep told\u00a0Page Six<\/em> on Friday:<\/p>\n

\u201cCameron never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor was she ever in the same place as him or had any association with him whatsoever, regardless of the fact he may or may not have mentioned her name or implied that he knew her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As we\u2019ve been reporting, many of the names mentioned in the pile of unredacted legal documents were just that \u2014 mentions. Not accusations, not innuendo. Most of the movie stars were brought up when witnesses said they\u00a0didn\u2019t<\/em> meet them!<\/p>\n

In the case of Cameron, Johanna Sj\u00f6berg<\/strong> \u2014 an Epstein trafficking victim who also worked as his assistant \u2014 was asked in a deposition about meeting movie stars. She clarified she hadn\u2019t<\/em> met\u00a0Bruce Willis<\/strong> or\u00a0Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong> or\u00a0Cate Blanchett<\/strong>, rather Epstein would often drop the names of big stars, saying he had just been speaking to them. And that was the closest she got. Then an attorney specifically asked:<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you meet Cameron Diaz?\u201d<\/p>\n

To which Sj\u00f6berg responded:<\/p>\n

\u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s it. That\u2019s the entirety of the\u00a0Charlie\u2019s Angels<\/em> star\u2019s involvement, app<\/a>arently. A lawyer being curious.<\/p>\n

Nothing like\u00a0Bill Clinton<\/strong> or\u00a0Prince Andrew<\/strong> or David Copperfield<\/strong>, who are facing fresh accusations from the docs.<\/p>\n
