Two women have filed complaints against an Arizona plastic surgeon after claiming he botched them while DRUNK!<\/p>\n

In two separate<\/em> lawsuits, 51-year-old Wendy Ellsworth<\/strong> and 32-year-old Alicia Armijo<\/strong> presented very similar stories. According to their suits, they both went under the knife at the hands of Dr. Bradley Becker<\/strong> in Glendale \u2014 and thought he smelled like liquor. Ellsworth and Armijo\u2019s complaints, filed on September 30 and October 2 respectively, accused the surgeon of medical negligence, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress \u2014 with the elder woman claiming her surgery results gave her \u201csignificant anxiety\u201d.<\/p>\n

Now, months after their lawsuits were filed in Maricopa County Superior Court<\/strong>, the ladies are telling their stories. And they\u2019re downright DISTURBING!<\/p>\n

Speaking to People<\/em>, Wendy said she was taken into surgery on October 5, 2021, but things quickly took a dark turn. She claims Dr. Becker \u201creeked of alcohol and app<\/a>eared to be intoxicated\u201d \u2014 and even had \u201can altered state of mind\u201d. Compared to their relatively normal consultations, this was said to have left her \u201cconfused\u201d and \u201cfrightened\u201d \u2014 as you can imagine!<\/p>\n

After saving up $16k for the procedure because her insurance wouldn\u2019t cover it, Wendy did her research and landed on Dr. Becker \u2014 a decision she would come to regret:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d come so highly recommended in Facebook<\/a> groups. I even checked the medical board and didn\u2019t see any complaints. He told me, \u2018I can pull you so tight\u2019 \u2026 [the day of the surgery] he came in and didn\u2019t mark me up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When she asked him why he wasn\u2019t making marks on her skin like plastic surgeons normally do to gauge where they\u2019re going to cut, Wendy claimed, he haphazardly ran a marker across her belly and hips. Despite this disturbing behavior and his alleged intoxication, she said she \u201cfelt trapped that she was already prepped for surgery and didn\u2019t know what to do.\u201d She decided to go through with the procedure because she knew she\u2019d just spent $16k she\u2019d never get back. So awful!<\/p>\n

Detailing her disappointing tummy tuck results, she told the outlet:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe basically left me with two shelves of skin on my hips to wear, so that even when I wear jeans, you can see where he\u2019d cut \u2014 it looks like a clear shelf. I have scars going up the middle of my stomach and from hip to hip, and he left tons of stitches hanging out of my body. When I unwrapped my body on the fourth day I just cried. He\u2019d lowered my bellybutton by three inches, and it was this puckered, horribly sutured ugly scar \u2026 I was horrified to see it, with chunks of skin draping off my body.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sadly, she claimed her breast lift fared just as badly:<\/p>\n

\u201cMy nipples weren\u2019t even close to being even. There is a reasonable expectation when you pay for a procedure like this that you\u2019ll get what you paid for \u2026 [Dr. Becker] told me everyone has skin sitting on their laps, or that it was just swelling and it could take up to two years to go away.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The even more upsetting part, though, is she isn\u2019t the only person who\u2019s run into this issue with Dr. Becker! Alicia found Wendy\u2019s comments about her experience in a Facebook<\/strong> group, and was shocked to see someone had the same experience as she did. Just like Wendy\u2019s complaints, she said the surgeon \u201cwas not acting at all like he had in their initial consultation\u201d and that he \u201cwas not in any state of mind to be able to perform the surgery\u201d. She also cited being \u201cafraid\u201d as the reason she didn\u2019t back out:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d actually called the office for a refund two weeks before my procedure because another woman warned me about him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She at least asked \u2014 though the doctor rejected the request. After she was refused a refund for the expensive procedure, she went under the knife of the surgeon. And yes, she says, he had a \u201cvery strong smell of alcohol\u201d on his breath. She also said \u201chis markings were different than the ones he\u2019d made before\u201d in their consultations, but he told her \u201cdon\u2019t worry\u201d as he was going to get all her skin and \u201cpull it as tight as possible\u201d.<\/p>\n

Uh\u2026 eyeballing a surgery?! Doesn\u2019t sound like a good idea\u2026<\/p>\n

Just like Ellsworth, Armijo claims to have been left with a \u201cshelf\u201d of skin and lots of unsightly scars. She also has contracted infections from her wounds, something she got the surgery to try and avoid in the first place:<\/p>\n

\u201cMy body is just changed forever in a way that I wasn\u2019t prepared for. I got a tummy tuck to resolve the skin infections and I\u2019m left with more skin infections \u2026 my emotional and mental health has taken a really big toll.\u201d<\/p>\n

So sad!<\/p>\n

The two ladies are determined to speak out against Dr. Becker \u2014 as they\u2019ve found more alleged victims. Wendy told the outlet:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m in contact with over a dozen women at this point. I have other women that need to be heard, and I\u2019m not going to stop until every woman\u2019s voice is heard. This is not going away.\u201d<\/p>\n

The elder woman said she\u2019s been in therapy to deal with the physical and mental wounds that \u201crun deep\u201d after the surgery. Alicia added that her own experience has given her anxiety about future surgeries. Even if she could afford to fix the issues \u2014 she doesn\u2019t know if she could handle trying again:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe recovery was so hard, and to have to go through that again, I just don\u2019t see that I can \u2026 I\u2019m just going to have to be mutilated\u2026 I worked really hard for my body to not look like this. I wish I could go back in time and not done the surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
