The long-running One Piece<\/em> anime<\/a> series<\/a> has entered its \u201cEgg Head Arc,\u201d which features a new opening song in the form of Hiroshi Kitadani<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cAssu!\u201d (the series\u2019 26th opening). Accompanying the new song is a fresh opening animation sequence, which is now available for viewing on the One Piece<\/em> YouTube<\/a> channel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like the previous opening song, \u201cThe Peak\u201d, \u201cAssu!\u201d\u2018s opening animation features the storyboards and direction of\u00a0Megumi Ishitani <\/strong>(One Piece<\/em> Episode 957, 982, and 1015; \u201cWhere The Wind Blows\u201d music video director) and is just as eye-catching and visually pleasing as Ishitani\u2019s previous works. In a post on X<\/a> (formerly Twitter), Ishitani credited the style of the opening to her team-up with \u201csuper animator\u201d Keisuke Mori<\/strong><\/a>, writing that she wouldn\u2019t have attempted an animation with this \u201ctaste\u201d otherwise. Mori served as animation director here and was previously involved with the opening animation for \u201cThe Peak\u201d and the \u201cWhere The Wind Blows\u201d video.<\/span><\/p>\n
