Troy Ave\u2018s response to Uncle Murda\u2018s \u201cRap Up 2023\u201d has remained safely in the vault since he recorded it, and it will likely stay there.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s according to DJ Self of Power 105<\/em>, who revealed on Friday (January 5) that the Brownsville native won\u2019t drop the track because he respects the G-Unit affiliate too much.<\/p>\n

\u201cTroy Ave has expressed to me that he has a response to the response of Uncle Murda\u2019s response, do that make sense?\u201d he said. \u201cOut of love and respect for Uncle Murda, he has decided not to drop the song. He said he recorded something because he\u2019s an artist, and artists, you know, they pen [their] words down.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was first speculated that Troy Ave had a bullet in the chamber for Uncle Murda on Monday (January 1), when the Brooklyn native posted to Instagram a photo of himself looking at his phone, implying that he\u2019d been watching the \u201cGet The Strap\u201d rapp<\/a>er\u2019s annual recap.<\/p>\n

\u201cDamn do I gotta \u201cWRAP this n-gga UP\u201d,\u201d he wrote in the caption, suggesting that a diss track aimed at Uncle Murda may be on the way.<\/p>\n

Uncle Murda addressed the ongoing drama between Troy Ave and Taxstone\u00a0in the 2023 version of his annual year-end \u201cRap Up\u201d song.<\/p>\n
