\n Second Dinner, the game<\/a> development studio behind digital collectible card game Marvel Snap<\/em>, has unveiled a $100 million Series<\/a> B investment led by venture capital firm Griffin Gaming Partners. <\/p>\n

\n The capital injection makes Griffin Gaming Partners a minority investor along with original investor NetEase. Marvel Snap<\/em> has reached 22 million-plus download<\/a>s and $200 million-plus in revenue since its launch in 2022, the firm said. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cThis investment not only boosts our capacity and gives us capital to jump on any great opportunities that might come our way, but most importantly, solidifies our commitment to making the most fun games ever,\u201d said Hamilton Chu, co-founder and CEO of Second Dinner.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cWe\u2019re grateful to have Griffin Gaming Partners on our team,\u201d said chief operating officer Matt Wyble. \u201cFrom our first conversation, it was clear they love Snap<\/em> and respect our need to be free to make the best games we can. This investment will help us make more awesome stuff! We\u2019ll use it to develop and commercialize new titles, incubate original IP, write better press releases and ensure that Marvel<\/em> Snap<\/em> continues to grow globally.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n While \u201cmost of Second Dinner is focused on Marvel Snap<\/em>,\u201d Ben Brode, co-founder and chief development officer at the company, also said that \u201cwe\u2019ve also got a couple other things cookin\u2019. And they\u2019re super super fun. I put two \u2018super\u2019s because it\u2019s possible they are too fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
