The 2020 Dorohedoro<\/em> anime<\/a> adaptation is getting a continuation. The sequel will be exclusive to streaming services \u2014 the original was broadcast on some channels in Japan in addition to being streamed on Netflix.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dorohedoro<\/em> is based on the violent fantasy manga by Q Hayashida<\/strong>, which was serialized from 2000 to 2018. The Shogakukan title has been collected into 23 tankoubon volumes. Viz Media<\/a> describes it as:<\/span><\/p>\n

In a city so dismal it\u2019s known only as \u201cthe Hole,\u201d a clan of Sorcerers have been plucking people off the streets to use as guinea pigs for atrocious \u201cexperiments\u201d in the black arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Caiman, a man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia. To undo the spell, they\u2019re hunting and killing the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually they\u2019ll kill the right one. But when En, the head Sorcerer, gets word of a lizard-man slaughtering his people, he sends a crew of \u201ccleaners\u201d into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
