There may not be any wedding bells in the near future for Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Travis Kelce<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Since November, there has been a lot of talk the couple would take the next step in their relationship and get engaged. Reports even claimed the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs<\/strong> tight end asked her father, Scott Swift<\/strong>, for permission to propose to Taylor! And we recently got a timeline of when the proposal would go down!<\/p>\n

Page Six<\/em> reported earlier this week that the pair talked about their future together \u2014 specifically when they would get engaged. They held off on doing the proposal around Christmas as \u201cthey don\u2019t want it to seem like it\u2019s rushed insanity.\u201d Taylor and Travis also felt Valentine\u2019s Day was too soon! But in the summertime? The source revealed they believed \u201ctheir one-year anniversary in July\u201d was the perfect date to get engaged and marked it on the calendar! Or did they??<\/p>\n

As much as the Swifties want to see a wedding between Travis and Taylor, it seems like that is not happ<\/a>ening \u201canytime soon\u201d \u2014 at least, according to a new report from Us Weekly<\/em> on Friday! A source shut down the engagement talk to the outlet, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cTravis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer. Things between them are going amazing, but they haven\u2019t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It sounds like Tay and Trav potentially are not ready to take their romance to the next level, which is understandable since they have only been together since July!<\/p>\n

While Taylor and Travis still want to take some time to get to know each other, their family members remain hopeful to see an engagement in the immedia<\/a>te future! The insider noted that the lovebirds know \u201ca lot of their loved ones\u201d would be happy to see the athlete get down on one knee and propose \u2013 \u201cand some may even believe\u201d it will happen soon. But Taylor and Travis are not planning to take that step \u201canytime soon.\u201d Hmm.<\/p>\n

For now, they appear not to be in any rush to walk down the aisle. But you never know, Swifities! Taylor and Travis could change their minds and decide they are ready to get engaged by the summer after all! Everyone will have to keep their eyes peeled for a sparkler on that\u00a0<\/em>finger when their anniversary hits!<\/p>\n
