Sofia Vergara<\/strong> is looking back on her very public split from Joe Manga<\/a>niello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to believe that it\u2019s already been six months since the Modern Family<\/em> star and her husband of seven years announced their divorce\u2026 But it sounds like despite how tough it must have been for both of them, for Sofia, the public aspect of it wasn\u2019t actually all that bad.<\/p>\n

During an interview on CBS Sunday Morning<\/em> over the weekend, the 51-year-old reflected on how publicized her separation was:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re out there and people know. That\u2019s part of being a celebrity. I knew it was going to happ<\/a>en. You can\u2019t hide those things.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Asked how she overcame the lack of privacy, the Griselda<\/em> star noted that the \u201cpress\u201d surrounding it \u201cwasn\u2019t bad.\u201d She explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t bad, you know, I have to say the press was very respectful and very nice and I thought that they were going to invent more things \u2014 you know how it usually is.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was surprised and, you know, they kind of just said what it was and that was it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It sounds like she was really hunkering down for some drama! But it seemed like things were relatively amicable for the pair.<\/p>\n

As far as how she\u2019s doing half a year later, the Hot Pursuit<\/em> star dished:<\/p>\n
