Kanye West has shown love to Kid Cudi after the two recently squashed their beef, although fans have noticed something odd about Ye\u2019s show of support.<\/p>\n

On his Instagram Stories on Sunday (January 14), West posted a screenshot of him listening to \u201cElectrowavebaby\u201d from Cudi\u2019s newly released album INSANO<\/em>.<\/p>\n

However, eagle-eyed fans quickly realized that the Chicago rap icon did not have the volume turned up on his phone and was playing the song on mute.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy would Kanye post himself listening to Kid Cudi\u2019s album on mute,\u201d one X user asked, while another said: \u201cKanye listening to that new Cudi on mute I\u2019m sick.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kanye West also reposted a flyer promoting an upcoming concert from previous longtime collaborator Mike Dean, who is set to perform alongside numerous special guests at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on March 1.<\/p>\n

Much like Kid Cudi, Ye\u2019s relationship with Dean has become strained in recent years, with the pair seemingly moving in separate directions since the controversial DONDA<\/em> recording sessions in 2021.<\/p>\n

Last October, Dean criticized West for posting private text messages online, saying: \u201cPosting DM and texts from folks is the single most thirsty think a person can do.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also spoke out against Kanye\u2019s multiple antisemitic tirades against Jewish people and for echoing right-wing pundit Candace Owens\u2019 talking points during interviews.<\/p>\n

Mike Dean has also slammed Cudi in the past, mainly for removing him from his Moon Man\u2019s Landing, which he put down to \u201cjealousy.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a number of posts on X (then Twitter<\/a>) in 2022, Dean labeled the Lonely Stoner \u201cMid Cudi\u201d and said: \u201cDickhead canceled me just from jealousy. Just because I was on tour with The Weeknd. Also there\u2019s more people in a half full stadium when I play than when Mid plays the small arenas.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Kid Cudi\u2019s fans came to his defense, Mike Dean had plenty of smoke for them, too \u2014 especially one fan who claimed that Mr. Rager is a better producer than he is. \u201cThat\u2019s hilarious. I\u2019m done,\u201d Dean responded. \u201cHahahah. Dude can\u2019t produce his way out of a wet paper sack.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it Cudi is expected to app<\/a>ear on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign\u2018s upcoming album Vultures<\/em>, it remains to be seen whether Mike Dean will be involved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
