He then retweeted Netflix and wrote the show name again while adding, \u201cOn Netflix. Staples will be starring, and also executive producing alongside acclaimed producer and director Kenya Barris and his Khalabo Ink Society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am excited to partner with Netflix and Kenya Barris on <em>The Vince Staples Show<\/em>,\u201d Staples said in a statement. \u201cThis has been something I have been developing for some time and I am happy it\u2019s coming to fruition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams serve as co-showrunners and executive produce with Staples, Barris for Khalabo Ink Society, Corey Smyth and Calmatic.<\/p>\n<p>As he prepared for his own show, Vince Staples certainly had ample time to get his acting chops ready with roles in the 2023 film <em>White Men Can\u2019t Jump<\/em> and a recurring role on <em>Abbott Elementary<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Vince isn\u2019t leaving music behind on his Hollywood journey. Just last week, he teased new music for 2024 with an Instagram post.
