In addition to the above, people in the EU, EEA and Switzerland can now access Instagram and Facebook for free with ads, or they have the option to subscribe to eliminate ads. If users choose the sub<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>ion option to stop seeing ads, their information will not be utilized for advertising purposes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target ad concerns<\/strong>. Meta\u2019s focus on improving data privacy comes after Facebook was accused of actively sharing data about every single user with thousands of brands last week. The research, conducted by Consumer Reports, found that, on average, an astonishing 2,230 companies actively share data about each user with the social networking site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the Digital Markets Act (DMA)?<\/strong>\u00a0The DMA is a new piece of legislation designed to ensure that large online platforms, called \u201cgatekeepers\u201d, behave in a fair way online to create a fair and open environment for online businesses.
