Finesse2Tymes has issued a response after being called out for recycling a verse on a paid feature.<\/p>\n

Talking to fans on Instagram Live on Monday (January 22), the Memphis rapp<\/a>er explained that the artist who called him out \u2013 Atlanta-based rapper TG Kommas \u2013 didn\u2019t \u201cclear\u201d the song so it was free rein.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t get mad if I wanna sell my product to somebody else that you ain\u2019t paid for,\u201d Finesse said. \u201cIf you ain\u2019t paid for it and he paid for it \u2014 he paid to get it cleared \u2014 I can do what I wanna do with my verse. How you gon\u2019 tell me what I can and can\u2019t do with my verse? When you go buy a verse, every rapper, every independent rapper, every up and coming rapper \u2014 you know I fuck wit y\u2019all. Everybody that know me know I fuck with them. I work with budgets and everything. I might want 50-60 [thousand] for a verse. You from the streets, I might tell you give me 30.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cYou know I fuck with real street n-ggas. But this also a business, right? This a business so if you gon\u2019 come get you a verse and a video, you gotta make sure you take care of the business side too. You can\u2019t just do the verse and the video and think, \u2018I\u2019ma put it out!\u2019 That ain\u2019t how it go. You gotta pay for the clearance too. You can\u2019t just put the video and the song out.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo basically if you don\u2019t pay for the clearance, you really can\u2019t even put it out. You have to clear the song. You can\u2019t even make money off the song. You have to get it cleared and you have to pay for that. So when you go speaking\u2026, have your facts together. Have your business together.\u201d<\/p>\n

The issue first came to light earlier this month in a video TG Kommas made.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo not spend your money with these bitch-ass n-ggas, mane, because they will do some funky, bitch-ass shit and then act like they\u2019re so business,\u201d he began.<\/p>\n

Kommas\u2019 video then cut to two separate songs featuring almost identical verses from Finesse2Tymes \u2014 one, his own, called \u201cCan\u2019t Pay For It,\u201d and another called \u201cAll I Want,\u201d a Finesse collaboration with the rapper Fastmoney Ant that was released months later.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh my God, you one-verse-having-ass, bitch-ass n-gga!\u201d Kommas continued. \u201cAt first I was like, \u2018Maybe he was loaded and made a mistake and redid my shit.\u2019 No, bitch-ass n-gga. You changed one line on that bitch! Stop playing with me, man!\u201d<\/p>\n

TG appears to have since deleted his collaboration with Finesse2Tymes from YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finesse first replied on his Instagram Story at the time: \u201cCarry on wit ya hating n diss\u2019n. That shyt free promo,\u201d before issuing his full response above.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
