While speaking with The Times<\/em> on Friday, the 65-year-old actress revealed she has been using dating app<\/a>s in the hopes of finding some potential romantic partners \u2014 and her experience has been, to put it simply, very rough. Sharon recalled to the outlet that she once met a man who was a \u201cconvicted felon.\u201d What?! Another was \u201ca heroin addict who\u2019s clearly 20,000 heroin injections later than the picture he sent me.\u201d Don\u2019t worry she gave the story about that date!<\/p>\n

The Basic Instinct<\/em> star recalled she met the guy for a date at the Hotel Bel-Air<\/strong> in Los Angeles. However, their outing didn\u2019t last long! Sharon said she bailed shortly after ordering drinks:<\/p>\n

\u201cI tell the waiter, \u2018I\u2019ll have a glass of water.\u2019 He had a cocktail: absinthe or something. And I said, \u2018I\u2019m sorry, I can\u2019t stay.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Damn! While Sharon has had some wild online dating experiences, it hasn\u2019t been all bad. She has found some success, revealing to the outlet she had two virtual relationships during the coronavirus pandemic:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was almost like a therapist. One whose wife told him she wanted a divorce and they had two little kids. He was struggling to process it. And [the other] had broken up with his girlfriend. She had gotten pregnant and instead of marrying, she got an abortion \u2026 He was still very much in love with her and I helped him process it. It was really rewarding for both of us. I don\u2019t know how to explain it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite hitting a few roadblocks in her dating life, Sharon is very hopeful to find love this year. She said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the year that I want to fall in love \u2014 100 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Fingers crossed! As for what she\u2019s looking for in a partner? Well, she doesn\u2019t have a list of requirements! Sharon explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t look for anything. I\u2019ve never looked for anything. Because I don\u2019t think that\u2019s what happens. You\u2019re standing somewhere, someone walks up and starts talking to you and you turn around and think, \u2018What?\u2019 And the next thing you know, two years have gone by.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Sharon continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t look for a list and then your list arrives. That\u2019s what people do who don\u2019t have relationships. So that they can comfort themselves with the fact that they don\u2019t have a relationship and feel that they\u2019re actively making an effort towards that happening in their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
