{"id":606526,"date":"2024-01-29T07:09:56","date_gmt":"2024-01-29T04:09:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/trump-rips-uaw-president-get-rid-of-this-dope\/"},"modified":"2024-01-29T07:09:56","modified_gmt":"2024-01-29T04:09:56","slug":"trump-rips-uaw-president-get-rid-of-this-dope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/trump-rips-uaw-president-get-rid-of-this-dope\/","title":{"rendered":"#Trump rips UAW president: \u2018Get rid of this dope\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/01\/AP24014681571957-e1706379168582.jpg?w=900\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Former President Trump on Sunday dug into United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain for his endorsement of President Biden, arguing the UAW leader does not \u201cunderstand\u201d the future of the automobile industry. <\/p>\n<p>Trump, in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/111836879573790815\">a Truth Social post<\/a> on Sunday, said he watched Fain\u2019s interview with CBS <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a>\u2019s \u201cFace the Nation\u201d earlier in the day, in which the UAW leader took multiple swipes at the former president.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>The former president called Fain a \u201cSTIFF\u201d who is helping sell the automobile industry \u201cright into the big, powerful hands of China.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe [Fain] bought into Biden\u2019s \u201cvision\u201d of all Electric Vehicles, which require far fewer workers to make each car but, more importantly, are not wanted in large numbers by the consumer, and will ALL be made in China,\u201d Trump continued, in reference to the Biden administration\u2019s push towards electric vehicles (EVs).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want them to be made in the USA, every type of car, and would require China, and other countries, through TARIFFS, or otherwise, to build plants here, with our workers. Now they are building in Mexico, the biggest plants anywhere, and selling their cars, Tariff Free, into the good ol\u2019 USA. Shawn Fain doesn\u2019t understand this or have a clue. Get rid of this dope &amp; vote for DJT. I will bring the Automobile Industry back to our Country,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>The Hill reached out to UAW for comment. <\/p>\n<p>Fain, earlier on Sunday, spoke with CBS News about the union\u2019s endorsement of Biden and touted the president\u2019s support of the UAW\u2019s efforts, especially in its recent strike against the Big Three automakers. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you look at these two candidates, you know,\u00a0Joe Biden\u00a0has a history of serving others, and serving the working class, and fighting for the working class, standing with the working class,\u201d Fain said Sunday. \u201cDonald Trump\u00a0has a history of serving himself and standing for the billionaire class. And that\u2019s contrary to everything that working class people stand for.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>The union formally endorsed Biden\u2019s reelection campaign last week. Fain at the time called Trump a \u201cscab.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cDonald Trump is a billionaire, and that\u2019s who he represents. If Donald Trump ever worked in an auto plant, he wouldn\u2019t be a UAW member,\u201d Fain said. \u201cHe\u2019d be a company man trying to squeeze the American worker. Donald Trump stands against everything we stand for as a union.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The formal endorsement was somewhat delayed amidst the union\u2019s concerns the Biden administration\u2019s push for a transition to electric vehicles could take away industry jobs. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr3_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>Fain on Sunday said the UAW \u201chas always been at the forefront of environmental issues, and of working class issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe biggest thing to us is, no matter which way we go on this, we\u2019re gonna have security for our members and for the working class people,\u201d Fain continued, pointing to the assurances in the UAW\u2019s new contract. \u201cSo we\u2019re not afraid of where we\u2019re headed, no matter where this industry goes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump has repeatedly targeted the Biden administration\u2019s EV policies along the campaign trail and claimed in September the polices will make it so \u201cthe Great State of Michigan will not have an auto industry anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr4_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>The Biden-Harris Campaign responded to Trump\u2019s latest attack on Sunday, taking a jab at the former president using Fain\u2019s \u201cscab\u201d remark from last week. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo\u2026<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arently losing the UAW endorsement to Joe Biden has left Donald Trump\u2019s wounded ego with quite the SCAB,\u201d Biden-Harris 2024 Communications Director Michael Tyler wrote in a statement. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Copyright 2023 Nexstar <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> Inc.
