Hit-Boy has pointed out the disparities between rapp<\/a>ers and producers, despite what he says are their equal contributions to a song.<\/p>\n

In a new episode of the Back On Figg<\/em> show streamed on Monday (January 29), the highly decorated producer spoke about the trouble he and his peers have to go through to get their fee for making a song, while the artists bring in big bucks from performances.<\/p>\n

\u201cProducers get played, bro. I know other producers that\u2019s poppin that\u2019s complaining about albums that dropped months ago that none of us got paid off of,\u201d Hit said. \u201cThese n-ggas is out here touring and we out here trying to beg the label to pay us a measly, bullshit-ass fee. And these n-ggas is using the songs muthafuckas is producing and getting millions of dollars a night to perform when n-ggas gotta be in here scratching to survive.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also noted that artists don\u2019t give producers enough credit, even though they wouldn\u2019t have a song to rap on if it weren\u2019t for beatmakers.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of muthafukas act like they cool bro,\u201d he said. \u201cI done gave n-ggas real hits that I can\u2019t even get a hold of like that. That shit weird to me, personally.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hit-Boy also gave Metro Boomin props in the new interview, despite previously dissing him on wax.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s dope what Metro Boomin just did with his album and having the right artists on there and doing real numbers,\u201d he told Back On Figg<\/em> host T-Rell. \u201cThat\u2019s a good push for producers. I\u2019m in full support of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

On an unreleased song Hit previewed last year, he rapped: \u201cI\u2019m usually homeboys with producers I get compared to, but on this one I want to say I\u2019m stretched out, extra leg room\/ I don\u2019t really know dude, he seem like a cool cat\/ But I never once heard Metro Boomin do boom bap<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Metro soon responded by quoting Kendrick Lamar\u2018s \u201cRich Spirit\u201d lyrics: \u201cStop playin\u2019 with me \u2018fore I turn you to a song<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The beef didn\u2019t go any further than that, however.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
