Ice Spice has made it clear that she isn\u2019t on good terms with Latto, and that her most recent single is aimed at her peer.<\/p>\n

The Bronx rap star released \u201cThink U The Shit (Fart)\u201d last month, which has bars many perceived to be a reference to her adversary\u2019s \u201cPut It On Da Floor.\u201d Over a pounding, video game<\/a>-inspired beat from RIOTUSA, Synthetic and Venny, she raps: \u201cI got my foot on they necks, I can\u2019t let up\/ She all on the floor, told her get up<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a Twitter<\/a> Spaces app<\/a>earance on Friday (February 2), the \u201cMuch\u201d hitmaker confirmed the song\u2019s target, and cited the reason.<\/p>\n

She recalled noticing her music video playing in the background of a short clip posted by the Atlanta rapper, and taking offense to that.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing that I\u2019m in the back of your weak-ass snippet,\u201d she said. \u201cSo I was like, \u2018Wait a second \u2014 that\u2019s me?\u2019 So I\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, since we\u2019re talking about me, let\u2019s talk about me,\u2019 and I dropped that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018This has to be fake \u2014 this is AI,\u2019 but bitches be bold, so I was like, \u2018Alright, we\u2019re being bold today.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that Latto recently sided with Megan Thee Stallion in her ongoing beef against Nicki Minaj, with whom Ice Spice teamed up with on \u201cBarbie World\u201d\u00a0in 2023. Furthermore, the New York City rising star also recently took aim at her female contemporaries in the industry during an interview with Variety<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a competition at the end of the day,\u201d Ice Spice said. \u201cPeople want to be all, \u2018I\u2019m a girl\u2019s girl,\u2019 but then behind the scenes being bitches. Basically, we here, the girls, are doing amazing. I\u2019m excited to see it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like the competition is what keeps us all excited because I think we all secretly enjoy competing and seeing who put that shit on better and who\u2019s gon\u2019 get the most views. It is believed Ice Spice and Latto\u2019s issues stem from copycat accusations levied against the latter after she was seen striking a pose similar to Spice\u2019s signature bent-over move.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time y\u2019all accuse me of copying folks ima clear it up. Nun mo nun less,\u201d Latto responded to the claims on Twitter last year. \u201cI don\u2019t like how y\u2019all take my tweets & make them fit ur weak ass narratives.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
