Hit-Boy reacted to the surprising song choice trailer for the new \u2018Sonic The Hedgehog\u2019 spin-off TV series<\/a>, \u2018Knuckles,\u2019 after the video\u2019s official premiere on February 8, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a post on X (formerly Twitter<\/a>), the <\/span>King\u2019s Disease<\/span><\/i> producer expressed his astonishment, after realizing that Crime Mob\u2019s 2004 single, \u201cKnuck If You Buck\u201d is scattered throughout the trailer, writing: <\/span>\u201cknuck if you buck in the trailer is hard lol.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Serving as the first single from <\/span>Crime Mob\u2019s<\/span> self-titled debut album, \u201cKnuck If You Buck\u201d became an anthem for fistfights and altercations at parties throughout the 2000s. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2009, <\/span>Pitchfork<\/span><\/i><\/a>placed the song at No. 381 of the \u201cBest Songs of the 2000s,\u201d and in 2017, <\/span>Complex<\/span><\/i><\/a>listed the song as No. 7 in its \u201c25 Rap Songs That Make Us Want To Punch Someone In the Face.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In the 2010s, an episode in the first season of <\/span>Donald Glover<\/span>\u2019s <\/span>Atlanta<\/span><\/i> featured \u201cKnuck If You Buck\u201d in an episode titled, \u201cThe Club.\u201d In the same vein, <\/span>Zay Hilfigerrr & Zayion McCall\u2019s 2016 single<\/span>, \u201cJuju on That Beat (TZ Anthem),\u201d sampled Crime Mob\u2019s nefarious single and eventually peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cKnuckles\u201d has proven to be made with hip-hop fans in mind, with <\/span>Kid Cudi<\/span> joining the cast as Agent Mason. When he broke the news<\/a> last spring, <\/span>the rapp<\/a>er claimed that he was living out his dreams by taking part in the legendary video game<\/a>-film franchise<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hit-Boy is known for his deep knowledge of hip-hop and his impact on the culture, <\/span>most recently collaborating with The Alchemist for a collaborative EP, titled <\/span>Theodore & Andre<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
