Lil Wayne<\/span> has officially backtracked his stance on whether or not <\/span>Anthony Davis<\/span> should be traded from the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tunechi app<\/a>eared on UNDISPUTED <\/em>last week, as he does every Friday, and the conversation turned to the previous night\u2019s NBA game<\/a>, in which the Lakers put up a great performance against the Celtics, despite the absence of LeBron James.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the discussion about the Lakers came to a close, Skip Bayless asked Lil Wayne \u2014 who last November had made the bold claim that the team could only win a championship in the future if they \u201cget rid of [Anthony Davis]\u201d \u2014 if he still feels the same way about the former New Orleans Pelicans star with the NBA\u2019s trade deadline fast approaching.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t get nobody for him that\u2019s gon\u2019 replace what he can do,\u201d Wayne said. \u201cThere\u2019s nobody out there like that.\u201d <\/span>Weezy then quipped that perhaps he would be interested \u201cIf you could get Jokic, but you can\u2019t do that.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Lil Wayne wasn\u2019t the only rapper\/sports aficionado who lost faith in Anthony Davis last year.<\/p>\n

Back in March 2023, Cam\u2019ron affirmed that same sentiment during a segment on his sports talk show It Is What It Is.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday (February 7), the NBA revealed that <\/span>Lil Wayne and 50 Cent will both be assistant coaches for the upcoming All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tha Carter III <\/i>rapper will be coaching alongside Stephen A. Smith and WNBA star A\u2019Ja Wilson. Their team will feature: Adam Blackstone, Natasha Cloud, <\/span>Jennifer Hudson<\/span>, Tristan Jass, AJ McLean, Kwame Onwuachi, <\/span>Metta World Peace<\/span>, Jack Ryan, CJ Stroud, and Gianmarco Tamberi.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other side of the paint, the G-Unit legend will be calling the shots along with <\/span>Shannon Sharpe<\/span> and Peyton Manning. Their team currently consists of: Anuel AA, <\/span>Kai Cenat<\/span>, Conor Daly, Walker Hayes, Quincy Isaiah, Jewell Loyd, Micah Parsons, Lilly Singh, <\/span>SiR<\/span>, and Dylan Wang.<\/span><\/p>\n
