Bow Wow has been reflecting on his hospitalization after suffering effects from being addicted to lean.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Art of Dialogue<\/em>, the rapp<\/a>er and actor discussed the health issues he suffered as a result of his drug habit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was sipping lean,\u201d he said. \u201cI was sipping so much syrup. I said this after Mac Miller died. I spoke on this shit. I was drinking that shit like crazy.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you go back and watch The Road to Platinum<\/em> series<\/a> on BET, you\u2019ll see so many white Styrofoam cups. I was losing my fucking mind. That lean shit had me fucked up. I was just always irritated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bow Wow went on to describe the severity of his addiction which saw him drinking lean everywhere he went \u2014 to the point that fellow sipper Lil Wayne gave him a \u201cbaby bottle\u201d full of the substance.<\/p>\n

He also revealed the nature of his hospitalization: \u201cWe were on our tour, I was co-headlining with Chris Brown and the opening night was in Cincinnati and when I got off stage, I collapsed. I went straight to Cincinnati University Hospital. My stomach was so fucked up I ended up going back home to Atlanta after the first show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sitting in the hospital not knowing what the fuck going on, and I get back home and the shit gets worse. I\u2019m throwing up, I\u2019m shivering in the bed, I\u2019m sweating, I\u2019m going through it. I didn\u2019t know I was having withdrawals. That\u2019s how much lean I was consuming.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cI had to get right, man. God rest her soul, I had the best publicist ever, Pattie Webster. She put out a press release [that said I dropped out of the tour] for dehydration. Wasn\u2019t no dehydration; I was fucked up off lean. That\u2019s just good PR. We didn\u2019t want the world to know that 18, 19-year-old Bow was heavy on the drank.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Like Mike<\/em> star previously discussed his addiction problems<\/a> after the death of Mac Miller in 2018.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the youth- Stop with these dumb ass drugs. Im going to let something out. When me and Omarion worked on FACE OFF album. I was high off lean every day,\u201d he admitted. \u201cWhen y\u2019all saw me on BET going off on Torae, I was high off lean. My attitude everything changed.\u201d<\/p>\n

He told fans: \u201cKick that shit! Be a good son or daughter. Be the best you. I\u2019ma start being more vocal. We gotta save the youth from going out early. DRUG-FREE IS THE WAY TO BE! smarten up tighten up out here. We can\u2019t lose no more of you. Not one! I love all y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
