{"id":608839,"date":"2024-02-16T07:31:08","date_gmt":"2024-02-16T04:31:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/cohen-predicts-trump-will-be-convicted-on-all-charges-in-hush-money-case\/"},"modified":"2024-02-16T07:31:08","modified_gmt":"2024-02-16T04:31:08","slug":"cohen-predicts-trump-will-be-convicted-on-all-charges-in-hush-money-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/cohen-predicts-trump-will-be-convicted-on-all-charges-in-hush-money-case\/","title":{"rendered":"#Cohen predicts Trump will be convicted \u2018on all charges\u2019 in hush money case"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Michael Cohen, a former personal lawyer for former President Trump, said he thinks that Trump will be convicted \u201con all charges\u201d in his New York hush money case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe, based upon the information that I know, and based upon, not just the documentary evidence but the corroborating testimony from so many people, I believe that he will be found guilty on all charges,\u201d Cohen <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OutFrontCNN\/status\/1758298018191683807\">said<\/a> on CNN\u2019s \u201cErin Burnett OutFront.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>Cohen also said he thinks that the case will go on for about a month, calling it \u201cvery simple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would say, at best, it would be a four-week case,\u201d Cohen said.<\/p>\n<p>The former president\u2019s lawyers failed to delay the hush money trial Thursday, with a New York judge setting a date for jury selection to start on March 25.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u200b\u200bInstead of being in South Carolina and other states campaigning, I\u2019m stuck here. It\u2019s an election interference case. Nobody\u2019s ever seen anything like it in this country. It\u2019s a disgrace, it\u2019s a disgraceful situation actually,\u201d Trump said after a hearing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd we\u2019ll just have to figure it out. I\u2019ll be here during the day, and I\u2019ll be campaigning during the night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Burnett brought up the fact that Cohen will have to testify in the hush money case, Cohen said he was under subpoena to do so and called testifying not \u201cfun.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThey get personal, they get nasty,\u201d Cohen said.<\/p>\n<p>The New York hush money case is one of the many legal troubles the former president is facing at the moment. He also faces two federal cases on efforts to overturn the 2020 election and his handling of classified documents, and another election subversion case in Georgia.
