His chances of becoming the 47th president are no worse than <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/trump-vs-biden\">50-50.<\/a> Not only is President Biden a weak incumbent, but Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to have the momentum and the lead in most of the key swing states. <\/p>\n<p>Never in our nation\u2019s history has a former president been at war with America. But, propelled by political winds, Trump has made himself a warrior-candidate, uniquely accepted by half of voters in a nation at civil war-levels of polarization, coupled with a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> distrust of government amidst signs of decline.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>On the primary campaign trail, Trump foments rage among his followers. In his Jan. 22 New Hampshire primary victory speech, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rev.com\/transcript-editor\/shared\/6IxHsTDNWaks4Vhcq-jTNVw-R39hAhXGMakQhh-xkpStguzEeMDeHjcoYd_mzKWBl196XjnzF6kc_JgrddQG41e_CFg?loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&amp;ts=518.34\">he shouted<\/a> his time-tested pronouncement: \u201cThis country has gone to hell, this country has gone to hell.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>War is hell, and Trump\u2019s fans believe that only he has the blood and guts, energy, strength, and policies to save America.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s aggressive negativity is a sharp contrast with the traditional norms of campaign communication, a vast deviation from Ronald Reagan\u2019s sunny optimism. His <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aaaa.org\/timeline-event\/morning-america-dawn-first-political-ads\/?cn-reloaded=1\">\u201cMorning in America\u201d<\/a> television commercial amid his 1984 landslide reelection, clashes sharply with another <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rev.com\/transcript-editor\/shared\/6IxHsTDNWaks4Vhcq-jTNVw-R39hAhXGMakQhh-xkpStguzEeMDeHjcoYd_mzKWBl196XjnzF6kc_JgrddQG41e_CFg?loadFrom=PastedDeeplink&amp;ts=518.34\">quintessential<\/a> Trumpian quote: \u201cWe\u2019re going to bring our country back. With your vote, you\u2019re going to put crooked Joe and his protectors on notice that we are coming in November. We\u2019re coming to take over the beautiful, beautiful White House, and we\u2019re going to run the country the way it\u2019s supposed to be run, not the way it\u2019s been.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Not only does \u201cGeneral\u201d Trump promise \u201cto bring our country back\u201d (from hell, one presumes), but he plans to \u201ctake over\u201d the White House. No American presidential candidate has ever promised a \u201ctakeover\u201d with a Trump-loyal army-in-waiting named <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heritage.org\/conservatism\/commentary\/project-2025\">Project 2025.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also present on Trump\u2019s New Hampshire victory stage was Vivek Ramaswamy, basking in the afterglow of his failed campaign. The former primary candidate has quickly morphed into Trump\u2019s considerably more articulate sidekick. Ramaswamy encapsulated the 45th president\u2019s 2024 \u201cat-war\u201d theme. \u201cWe are in the middle of a war in this country,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s not between black and white or even between most Democrats and Republicans. It is between those of us who love this country and a fringe minority who hates the United States of America and what we stand for, between the permanent state and the everyday citizen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s an opposing view: \u201cWe are in the middle of a war in this country,\u201d that Trump is waging against any person, celebrity, group, political party, branch of government, department, agency, institution, body of law, organization, or established process he deems to be \u201cunfair\u201d or standing between his goal of total domination.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>That list includes current and former Republican members of Congress, Trump administration cabinet officials, retired four-star generals, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>, for consistently generating \u201cfake <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>,\u201d except when the coverage is favorable to him.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s lies and exaggerations are repeated so often that one-third of American ears have normalized his rantings as truth. Hence, Trump\u2019s war will continue to thrive while his well-oiled multi-platform propaganda and fear machines are operational 24\/7, to raise money and churn out promises that double as battle plans.<\/p>\n<p>One controversial battle plan Trump announced during his Veteran\u2019s Day message: to \u201croot out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country, lie, steal, and cheat on elections, and will do anything possible, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America, and the American Dream.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr3_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>One of the most effective weapons in Trump\u2019s strategic arsenal is the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/08\/03\/politics\/cnn-poll-republicans-think-2020-election-illegitimate\/index.html\">38 percent<\/a> of Americans who believe that Biden\u2019s 2020 election was illegitimate \u2014 \u201cstolen,\u201d in Trump\u2019s warring words.<\/p>\n<p>Most often, Trump fires artillery about how the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol would have turned out differently, had Vice President Mike Pence \u201cdone his job\u201d refusing to certify the votes of the Electoral College. That explains why Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and Sen. J..D Vance (R-Ohio), perhaps hoping to be named Trump\u2019s running mate, recently stated they would have taken the action that Pence lawfully refused.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, planting political landmines on the campaign trail, Trump vows to rescue the Jan. 6 \u201chostages\u201d with pardons. (After he finishes being dictator on day one?) Then and always, Trump uses his sympathy weapon, playing the \u201cvictim\u201d card with his 91 felony counts, since Biden has weaponized the Justice Department against him.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr4_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>Last year, the former president officially declared war, unveiling his political manifesto at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), when he said: \u201cI am your warrior, I am your justice. And for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.\u201d CPAC 2024 is next week, so listen as Trump throws fiery new verbal daggers to motivate the assembly of foot soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>Another battlefront is an email blast I have somehow started to receive with a \u201cTrump War\u201d subject line, highlighted by a red siren mimicking the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drudgereport.com\">Drudge Report\u2019s<\/a> news alerts. \u201cTrump War\u201d points to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/politicalsignal.com\/\">an all-headline, Trump-friendly clone<\/a> of Drudge\u2019s famous 1990s-era vintage format \u2014 proving that imitation is the greatest form of flattery.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"121\" src=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/op2.png?w=600\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4329764\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/op2.png?resize=600,121 600w, https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/op2.png?resize=300,61 300w, https:\/\/thehill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/11\/op2.png?resize=50,10 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 899px) 100vw, 600px\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cGeneral\u201d Trump and his army are psyched to fight and torpedo any legislation Trump fears could help Biden. This busy week, the general\u2019s sword hangs over House Speaker Mike Johnson\u2019s (R-La.) refusal to hold a floor vote for Ukraine and Israel military aid. Also, Trump \u201cattacked\u201d NATO and announced plans to conquer the Republican National Committee.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr5_ab\"><\/aside>\n<p>\u201cI am really good at war,\u201d Trump boasted in <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/highline.huffingtonpost.com\/articles\/en\/trump-at-war\/\">April 2016<\/a>. That comes from a man who never wore the uniform but has readily ridiculed those who have.
