Fivio Foreign briefly thought his homie Nicki Minaj shouted him out on the hook of her song \u201cEverybody,\u201d but he eventually realized she wasn\u2019t saying his name at all.<\/p>\n

Stopping by The Breakfast Club<\/em> on Thursday (February 15), the New York rapp<\/a>er laughed about his viral video in December where he appeared to mistake the sample of Junior Senior\u2019s 2002 hit \u201cMove Your Feet\u201d that says \u201cbody\u201d for \u201cFivi.\u201d<\/p>\n

He admitted that he already knew she wasn\u2019t saying his name by the time he posted the clip, but he did certainly think so for a moment before that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt sound like she said Fivi right?\u201d he laughed. \u201cNah, somebody told me that. [They were like], \u2018Look, she says Fivi!\u2019 But you know what it is? I ain\u2019t really listen to the whole song. I was just hearing that part. They was like, \u2018The sample is going viral on TikTok.\u2019 I\u2019m like, oh shit.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201c[But then] I listened to the song and I saw the title and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh shit. Aight.\u2019 But I knew it before I posted it, but I was like, I\u2019m still gonna post it.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Fivio Foreign didn\u2019t get a shout-out or guest appearance on Pink Friday 2<\/em>, he and Nicki Minaj have worked together in the past as they teamed up for \u201cWe Go Up\u201d in 2022.<\/p>\n

As for \u201cEverybody,\u201d Nicki revealed that she penned the track in five minutes and it almost didn\u2019t make the album as it was originally slated for Call of Duty<\/em>, whom she partnered with in 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is mad funny b\/c that was the song I wrote in 5 mins one day for \u2018Call Of Duty,\u2019\u201d she wrote on X<\/a>\/Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce I kept it for my album, I still didn\u2019t even rlly know if it made sense on PF2. I didn\u2019t wanna send it to Uzi b\/c I thought he\u2019d be over it. Instead he was like this hard af! Uzicito.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicki Minaj also previously praised Fivio Foreign\u2019s solo work, giving him his flowers for the quality of his debut album B.I.B.L.E.<\/em> in 2022.<\/p>\n

This fivio foreign album rlly hittin the mthafkn spot,\u201d Nicki wrote on Instagram. \u201cSooooo SOLID. Sonically authentic & well thought out. Cohesive body of work with a signature sound that is very true to where he\u2019s from.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also picked out \u201cFor Nothin,\u201d \u201cChanged on Me,\u201d \u201cOn God\u201d and \u201cHello\u201d as her favorite songs, while also shouting out Coi Leray, Chloe Bailey and KayCyy for their features.<\/p>\n
