\n Novak Djokovic\u2019s unbeaten streak may not be foremost on his mind, but it does matter to him.<\/p>\n

It serves as motivation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt actually fuels me to play even stronger,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He seems to be playing pretty well right now as it is. The top-ranked player in the world and the No. 1 seed in the U.S. Open, Djokovic cruised into the Round of 16 on Friday with an easy 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 victory over German Jan-Lennard Struff at Arthur Ashe Stadium, improving to 26-0 in 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a very, very good performance from my side,\u201d Djokovic said after dispatching Struff in the quick one-hour and 42-minute match. \u201cI managed to read his serve well. I made one necessary break in the first set. I faced two break points in the opening game<\/a>. The trajectory of the match can go differently if you lose your serve against a big guy like Struff, who serves very well and has a very powerful, aggressive game from the back of the court.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the fourth round, Djokovic will meet No. 20 Pablo Carreno Busta, who knocked off unseeded Ricardas Bernakas, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2. Djokovic is a perfect 3-0 against Carreno Busta.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been playing well the last couple of weeks, training well,\u201d Djokovic said. \u201cI\u2019m feeling very good. I\u2019m confident about my game. I\u2019m taking that into every match that I get to play.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
