Adam Sandler<\/strong> was presented with the Icon Award at the\u00a0People\u2019s Choice Awards<\/strong> on Sunday night. The problem was, he went up and accepted something entirely different \u2014 and way less app<\/a>ropriate!<\/p>\n

Accepting the award from frequent co-star Jennifer Aniston<\/strong>, the Happy Gilmore<\/em> star said he actually had misheard on the call and thought he was getting People\u2019s Sexiest Man Alive! He began:<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I wrote a speech for that and I don\u2019t have one prepared for the Icon thing. So I\u2019m gonna do the speech I wrote\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What followed was a totally inappropriate and HIGHlariously awkward acceptance of an accolade he was NOT getting, complete with references to his and others\u2019 genitalia \u2014 all while Jen had to stand there onstage!\u00a0He said with gratitude:<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the People Magazine\u2019s Academy of Hotness and Sexual Attractiveness, I would like to say thank you for recognizing me as the man who made our entire country the horniest this year.
