Kid Cudi seemingly has an issue with Donald Glover after refusing to work with him in any form.<\/p>\n

The pair, who are both prominent forces in the worlds of music, film and TV, have yet to release a collaboration together \u2014 and it app<\/a>ears it will remain that way.<\/p>\n

When a fan encouraged him to work with Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, on X (formerly Twitter<\/a>) on Wednesday (February 21), Cudi issued a sharp and somewhat shady response.<\/p>\n

\u201c@KiDCuDi You and Gambino gotta work on something whether it\u2019s TV, movies<\/a>, or music we\u2019d love to see\/hear it! Your guys\u2019 song Warlords needs an official release!\u201d the person wrote.<\/p>\n

Cudi simply replied: \u201cIm cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear why Kid Cudi would have a problem with Donald Glover as the pair appeared to be on good terms in the past.<\/p>\n

As referenced in the fan\u2019s post, the two rappers collaborated on a song called \u201cWarlords\u201d<\/a> that leaked a few years ago but never received an official release.<\/p>\n

They also went back-and-forth on social media in 2013<\/a> about finishing a track that they\u2019d been working on.<\/p>\n

Glover tweeted a photo of him and Cudi vibing to a collaboration, with Cudi saying he was ready to hit the studio again in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIma hit u when im back in LA mane, lets finish that jam if possible,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Glover replied: \u201cof course. say sup to @Logic301 fur me.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, when the idea of collaborating with Childish Gambino was floated five years later following the release of Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin\u2019<\/em>, Cudi seemed to have changed his tune.<\/p>\n

In response to a fan who asked him on X: \u201cWhen are we gonna hear Cudi and Gambino!?!\u201d he wrote: \u201cHmm.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donald Glover previously opened for Kid Cudi at Terminal 5 in New York City in 2011 prior to releasing his debut album Camp<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During an interview with GQ<\/a><\/em> last year, he recalled getting booed that night and putting his all into the show despite the backlash.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time I had a full band and a violinist,\u201d he said. \u201cI just kept turning to the band and telling them, \u2018Next song! Next song!\u2019 I put on a really intense show through the boos.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
