Tinashe has released a 20-minute special that brings to life her most recent LP, BB\/Ang3l<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The BB\/ANG3L Experienc<\/em>e was released on Friday (February 23), and it features multiple songs from the effort along with stellar dancing \u2013 all put together by the singer in just 10 days. Even more impressive, it was shot in full in just 12 hours.<\/p>\n

Released in September, BB\/ANG3L<\/em> stands as the sixth studio album from Tinashe, though it only features seven tracks and is considered \u201cpart one.\u201d Part two is expected to be released some time this year.<\/p>\n

It arrived just one month after her album 333<\/em>, which served as a \u201cspiritual awakening\u201d for Tinashe.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time I create a new body of work, I reflect on what I\u2019m going through and by being home, I was able to focus on my spiritual journey and the things I was going through,\u201d she told HipHopDX<\/em> about the project. \u201cI was playing a lot of video game<\/a>s and there\u2019s a lot of tech concepts and talking about what the future looks like where technology<\/a> and spirituality kind of meet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tinashe made the daunting decision in 2019 to leave RCA Records, her home since 2012, and retooled her entire team. Without the major label machine behind her, Sweet T was nervous about what was to come, but she tapped into the most creatively free version of herself to craft 2019\u2019s Songs For You<\/em> and then 333<\/em> and, shortly after, BB\/Ang3l<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Of her independent journey, she added:<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it\u2019s a continuous process of becoming more empowered and authentic to what I\u2019m supposed to be doing and making. When I first went independent, I didn\u2019t know what to expect because it was a big transition. Seeing how well Songs For You<\/i> was received really gave me more confidence going into this album with all the elements. We really locked in and I have a great team now. My management, publicist, hair and makeup, stylist, everyone\u2019s firing on all cylinders.\u201d<\/p>\n
