Hitmaka has accused Diddy of trying to sabotage his career and poach talent from him, describing the Bad Boy boss as \u201cdiabolical.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Joe Budden Podcast<\/em>, the producer detailed his experiences with Puff over the years and suggested the embattled record executive has a vendetta against him.<\/p>\n

Hitmaka (who previously went by Yung Berg) began by saying Diddy asked him to work on his star-studded R&B project The Love Album: Off the Grid<\/em>, but things quickly soured when the Harlem-bred mogul took issue with the beats he submitted.<\/p>\n

\u201cPuff hit me, he like, \u2018Yo, I\u2019m doing an R&B album, I need you, you the guy. It\u2019s gonna be London on Da Track, you and me and I think we should do everything together. Send me some joints,’\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI send him a 10 clip, crazy shit. He hit me back like, \u2018I want that [Yung] Berg shit, stop trying to be me. It sound like you trying to do what I do, n-gga. Send me some different shit.’\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cSo I didn\u2019t send him nothing. I was like, \u2018Fuck it.\u2019 Next thing I know, the n-gga deciphered my records and reached out to everybody I collaborated with and dissected me from the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo he called Cardiak to his house like, \u2018You need to be one of The Hitmen.\u2019 Next thing, Eric Bellinger is in the Bahamas with muthafuckin\u2019 Puff and they\u2019re singing songs together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hitmaka also accused Diddy of taking his producer tag off the intro to French Montana\u2018s They Got Amnesia<\/em> album, which the Bad Boy founder featured on.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018Damn, this n-gga is really diabolical,’\u201d he added. \u201cSo I wasn\u2019t fucking with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The multi-platinum producer alleged that Puff\u2019s issues with him date back to the late 2000s when the record executive turned his production partner Rob Holladay against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was a kid, when I had \u2018Sexy Lady\u2019 and all them songs, he called me to Daddy\u2019s House and was like, \u2018Man, who\u2019s producing your records?’\u201d he remembered. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Me and my brother Rob Holladay. I signed him, he\u2019s doing this shit with me.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cNext thing I know he signed Rob Holladay. Put that n-gga on jets and turned the n-gga against me, had him stop working with me and all type of shit. So this is a recurring type of thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Chicago native also said that when Tink\u2018s 2023 album Thanks 4 Nothing<\/em>, which he largely produced, topped the charts, he received a call from Diddy claiming that his own artist, Jozzy, would soon dethrone them.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was like, \u2018N-gga, you in good company. Jozzy No. 2, Tink No. 1.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018N-gga, you<\/em> in good company. I\u2019m No. 1. The fuck you talking about?’\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe like, \u2018N-gga, you know the type of money I\u2019ve spent \u2014 you ain\u2019t gonna be in that spot for long!\u2019 And shit, I stayed in that spot and she didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

HipHopDX<\/em> has reached out to Diddy\u2019s team for comment but has not yet received a response.<\/p>\n

Hitmaka previously slammed Diddy in 2022 for claiming that R&B was dead.<\/p>\n

\u201cDiddy done lost his whole damn mind talking bout R&B dead,\u201d he wrote on X. \u201cIt\u2019s so much good R&B out if u can\u2019t notice u gotta be outta touch. Stop trolling.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bad Boy Records founder had sparked a debate among fans of the genre during an Instagram Live conversation with fellow hitmaker Timbaland.<\/p>\n

\u201cR&B is muthafucking dead as of right now,\u201d he said. \u201cThe R&B I made my babies to? R&B gotta be judged to a certain thing \u2014 it\u2019s the feeling, though.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou gotta be able to sing for R&B and then you gotta tell the truth. R&B is not a hustle. This shit is about feeling your vulnerability.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
