However, this doesn\u2019t account for the marginal cost of the next conversion on that channel. The \u2018best\u2019 channel in one auction isn\u2019t the best option in another auction.\u201d <\/li>\n<li>\u201cPerformance Max makes a real-time decision about where to place your ad based on which inventory it predicts will deliver the most cost-efficient, high-ROI conversion at that moment.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Reaction. <\/strong>Julie F Bacchini, President of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/neptunemoon.com\/\">Neptune Moon LLC<\/a>, shared a screenshot of the exchange on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NeptuneMoon\/status\/1763277682698076205\/photo\/1\">X<\/a> and commented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cNew PMax questions answered from Think with Google\u2026 From the first answer\u2026 Paraphrased \u2013 we won\u2019t show you the stats for channels within PMax because you might get the wrong idea about their performance if you actually see it.\u201d <\/li>\n<li>\u201cTrust us to always do what\u2019s best.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why we care.<\/strong> Advertisers want more transparency in how their campaigns are performing because even though AI can be highly effective, it\u2019s not perfect.
