\n Jimmy Kimmel is clarifying there\u2019s one iconic burger joint in Los Angeles that\u2019s become a staple for celebrities on Oscars night.<\/p>\n

\n Ahead of hosting the Academy Awards for the fourth time on March 10, he told People<\/em> magazine<\/a>, \u201cThe award show tradition is In-N-Out after the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Kimmel explained the reason he believes it has become a tradition post-award shows is \u201cbecause when people are in L.A., one of the things on their list is to go to In-N-Out \u2014 and there are a lot of people that are in L.A. just for the Oscars \u2014 so they wind up going like, \u2018Okay.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n He added, \u201cAlso, you get very hungry, so In-N-Out is definitely the award show tradition. Nothing against McDonald\u2019s, but on award show night, it\u2019s In-N-Out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Most recently, Paul Giamatti was spotted at an In-N-Out in Westwood after taking home the Golden Globe for best male actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy, for his role in The Holdovers<\/em>. Following the awards ceremony in January, the actor was seen sitting at a table with his trophy, eating burgers, fries and soda alongside his girlfriend Clara Wong, and reps including UTA\u2019s Billy Lazarus and manager Perri Kipperman.<\/p>\n

\n After being founded in Baldwin Park in 1948, In-N-Out Burger became a beloved fast-food restaurant chain with locations primarily across California.<\/p>\n

\n The post-awards show In-N-Out trend\u00a0was also referenced in an Oscars promo last month ahead of the 2024 ceremony. At one point in the nearly five-minute\u00a0video, Ryan Gosling (who\u2019s nominated for best supporting actor for his role as Ken in Barbie<\/em>)\u00a0popped up in Weird Barbie\u2019s car and said, \u201cI got In-N-Out! It\u2019s kind of this cool social media<\/a> trend where you get it before the Oscars.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Kimmel proceeded to correct the actor, adding, \u201cHey Ryan, actually, I think the trend is to have In-N-Out after the Oscars. Actually, after you\u2019ve won the Oscar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cWell, that\u2019s not going to happ<\/a>en,\u201d Gosling said in response, throwing his drink and bag of food out of the car. \u201cGood thing Greta\u2019s got director in the bag.\u201d But America Ferrera (who\u2019s nominated for best supporting actress for her role in Barbie<\/em>) quickly ran over to\u00a0inform him that Barbie<\/em> director Greta Gerwig was snubbed from the category, and he reacted with a scream.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
