I\u2019ve never paid much attention to the roguelike\/roguelite deckbuilder genre popularized by <\/span>Slay the Spire<\/span><\/i>, and I\u2019ve never really thought about why. Just a brief moment with <\/span>Yohane the Parhelion: Numazu in the Mirage<\/span><\/i>, however, gave me the answer to that unasked question: these game<\/a>s don\u2019t usually have a charming anime<\/a> aesthetic and cozy vibe like this one does.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve no knowledge of the Love Live! multimedia<\/a> franchise, <\/span>Yohane the Parhelion <\/span><\/i>is a fantasy-theme<\/a>d spin-off of one of its series<\/a>,<\/span> Love Live! Sunshine<\/span><\/i>. Initially just a series of illustrations, <\/span>Yohane the Parhelion <\/span><\/i>reimagines <\/span>Sunshine<\/span><\/i>\u2019s high school idols as fortune tellers, demon queens, and fairies. The spin-offs include a manga, TV anime, and a 2D metroidvania. In <\/span>Numazu in the Mirage<\/span><\/i>, the titular protagonist enters a mirror version of her world to defeat evil doppelgangers of her friends with magical cards and cure them\u00a0 of a life force-draining affliction.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
