April 10 has been announced as the premiere date for Date A Live V<\/em>. The Japanese word for the 10th day of a month is \u201ctohka,\u201d and so the official announcement notes that the anime<\/a> will be beginning on \u201cTohka [Yatogami] Day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Date A Live\u00a0<\/em>is based on the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko light novel series<\/a> written by\u00a0Koushi Tachibana<\/strong>\u00a0and illustrated by\u00a0Tsunako<\/strong>. This fifth season will introduce the character of Mio Takamiya as well as the mega-corporation DEM Industry, which seeks the power of Spirits.<\/span><\/p>\n
