Selena Gomez<\/strong> is walking back her comments about leaving the music industry.<\/p>\n

In January, the Love On<\/em> songstress freaked fans out after revealing on the SmartLess<\/em> podcast that she\u2019s looking to shift gears from music to head up full-time acting. At the time, she noted she always pictured herself as an actress and \u201cnever really intended on being a singer full-time.\u201d She specifically noted she felt like she had \u201cone more album\u201d in her. But now she\u2019s giving that comment a bit more thought.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Rolling Stone<\/em> published on Monday, the 31-year-old clarified she\u2019s just picturing herself taking a break from singing as she focuses more on acting, rather than leaving the industry altogether:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s natural for people to take breaks, but I think for me, there is a whole other aspect to my life, pride and joy. I love film. I love TV. I just feel like I haven\u2019t done a lot of the things that I want to do in that space.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Only Murders in the Building<\/em> actress continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not that it\u2019s \u2018no, never\u2019 [to the music industry], it\u2019s more that I would like to explore that world a bit more and have the time to actually do that.\u201d<\/p>\n
