Mary J. Blige has finally manifested the love she believes she deserves and couldn\u2019t wait to share the happ<\/a>y news<\/a> with her fans.<\/p>\n

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul quietly made the announcement while speaking to CBS Mornings<\/em> on Tuesday (March 6). While promoting her upcoming Strength of a Woman Summit, Blige revealed that she\u2019s now relishing in the good relationship she has after going through it with her ex-husband, Martin \u201cKendu\u201d Isaacs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am in love. I believe I deserve a good relationship,\u201d she said. \u201cWith myself. With a partner. When you believe it, it comes to you.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m able to be my own company because I believe in love for myself, I\u2019m not going to give up on love. I\u2019m not going to let a bad relationship or a bad marriage stop me from having a good life and having romance and getting the hugs that I want and the desire and kisses.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blige and Issacs were married in 2003. At the time, Issacs had two sons \u2014 Nas and Jordan \u2014 with his first wife, and a daughter named Briana Latrise from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n

In July 2016, Blige filed for divorce, citing \u201cirreconcilable differences.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mary J. Blige and Kendu Isaacs finalized their divorce in June 2018, and in November of that same year, Isaac\u2019s daughter Briana exploded on her father on social media<\/a>, accusing him of choosing his women \u2014 including Mary J. Blige \u2014 over her.<\/p>\n
