J.K. Rowling<\/strong> is back at it again \u2014 but this time instead of getting canceled online, her comments got taken straight to the police!<\/p>\n

On Thursday a bombshell interview dropped on British news<\/a>paper site Byline TV<\/em> in which the guest, a notable broadcaster and trans woman named India Willoughby<\/strong>, expressed how tired she is of the Harry Potter<\/em> author \u201cmisgendering\u201d her and dragging her into a transphobic narrative. She told the host:<\/p>\n

\u201cJ.K. Rowling has definitely committed a crime. I\u2019m legally a woman. She knows I\u2019m a woman and she calls me a man. It\u2019s a protected characteristic.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What India is referring to is how earlier in the week the disgraced author went on a rant on her X<\/strong> (Twitter<\/a><\/strong>) about how she doesn\u2019t believe trans women should be allowed in women\u2019s changing rooms, and for whatever reason decided to name drop the journalist:<\/p>\n

\u201cIndia didn\u2019t become a woman. India is cosplaying a misogynistic male fantasy of what a woman is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because of these awful comments, the 58-year-old newsreader decided to take her complaint to Northumbria Police<\/strong>, and states she believes it could be a violation of the UK\u2019s Equalities Act and Gender Recognition Act \u2014 and<\/em> classified as a hate crime. Of course, J.K. couldn\u2019t keep her fingers off social media, and went on to refer to India as a \u201cmale\u201d and accused her<\/em> of harassment in her response, writing:<\/p>\n
