Chuck D has told his followers to manage their expectations about their elected leaders, cautioning against expecting politicians to be saviors in the wake of the State of the Union address.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Public Enemy\u00a0MC made clear on X, formerly known as Twitter<\/a>, on Thursday (March 7) that it was more important to know about the issues brought up in the annual presidential speech than about any similar entertainment event.<\/p>\n

While Chuck D is more pragmatic about politics, other rappers aren\u2019t as optimistic about it.<\/p>\n

Back in October, 50 Cent called out President Joe Biden for taking a vacation in the middle of the\u00a0Israel-Palestine conflict<\/a>, as well as the current\u00a0chaos inside Congress<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The G-Unit mogul took to Instagram on October 22 to share a screenshot of a news article that read, \u201cBiden hits the beach with Middle East, Congress in chaos,\u201d alongside a photo of the President and his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, kicking back on a beach.<\/p>\n

\u201chey Joe get the fvck up, we in trouble man!\u201d 50 wrote sternly in his caption, demanding the President get back to work and help resolve these global issues.<\/p>\n

But 50 Cent didn\u2019t stop there. Later that day, he shared another photo of Biden on a sun lounger on the beach, writing: \u201cWe got some real shit going on out here Joe. what\u2019s the plan to get a tan and chill come on now.\u201d<\/p>\n

50 Cent previously criticized Joe Biden in February for his $30 million Harm Reduction Plan, which proposed providing drug users with safe smoking kits and supplies to promote safe drug use and \u201cadvance racial equity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Queens, New York native didn\u2019t agree with the initiative and dragged Biden for the move.<\/p>\n
