\n After the 96th Academy Awards honors were handed out on Sunday night, here\u2019s a look at the next projects the Oscar nominees in the acting categories (supporting and lead) are planning to tackle: <\/p>\n

\n Annette Bening<\/strong>
Nyad<\/em><\/p>\n

\n The five-time Oscar nominee stars with Alison Brie and Sam Neill on Peacock series<\/a> App<\/a>les Never Fall<\/em> (March\u00a014), an adaptation of a Liane Moriarty novel. Also this year, Bening stars in Poolman<\/em> opposite Chris\u202fPine in his feature directorial debut.<\/p>\n

\n Emily Blunt<\/strong>
Oppenheimer<\/em><\/p>\n

\n She stars opposite fellow Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling in David Leitch\u2019s movie The Fall Guy<\/em>, premiering at SXSW before Universal releases it May\u00a03. Two weeks after that, Blunt can be heard voicing a unicorn in husband John Krasinski\u2019s Paramount feature IF<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Danielle Brooks<\/strong>
The Color Purple<\/em><\/p>\n

\n The actress has been filming Jared Hess\u2019 video\u202fgame<\/a> adaptation Minecraft<\/em> with Jack Black, set for release from Warner Bros. in 2025. She\u2019ll also appear in DC\u2019s Peacemaker<\/em> season two, which plans to shoot this summer. <\/p>\n

\n Sterling K. Brown<\/strong>
American Fiction\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\n He\u2019s part of Brad Peyton\u2019s Jennifer Lopez-led sci-fi thriller film Atlas<\/em>, debuting on Netflix this year. He also stars in the upcoming Hulu series Washington Black<\/em>, based on a Esi Edugyan novel.<\/p>\n

\n Bradley Cooper
<\/strong>Maestro<\/em><\/p>\n

\n He\u2019s attached to direct and star in Is This Thing On?<\/em>, eyeing a fall shoot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n Robert De Niro<\/strong>
Killers of the Flower Moon<\/em><\/p>\n

\n The two-time Oscar winner stars in Tony Goldwyn\u2019s Ezra<\/em>,\u00a0hitting theaters in May. His other projects include Warner Bros.\u2019 Alto Knights<\/em>, which premieres in November, and the Netflix limited series Zero\u202fDay<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Colman Domingo<\/strong>
Rustin<\/em><\/p>\n

\n After recently appearing in Drive-Away Dolls<\/em>, he returns for HBO\u2019s Euphoria<\/em>. He\u2019s also set to portray patriarch Joe Jackson in the 2025 Michael Jackson biopic at Lionsgate. This July, A24 releases the Domingo-starring feature Sing Sing<\/em> after the Greg Kwedar drama debuted at TIFF.<\/p>\n

\n Robert Downey Jr.<\/strong>
Oppenheimer\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\n The three-time Oscar nominee has multiple roles on the HBO series The Sympathizer<\/em>, which bows\u00a0in April.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n America Ferrera<\/strong>
Barbie<\/em><\/p>\n

\n She\u2019s set to make her directorial debut with I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter<\/em>, an adaptation of Erika S\u00e1nchez\u2019s 2017 novel. Ferrera also voices a role in Pixar\u2019s Elio<\/em>, hitting theaters in\u00a02025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n Jodie Foster<\/strong>
Nyad<\/em><\/p>\n

\n The two-time Oscar winner has yet to choose her next project after her HBO series True Detective: Night Country<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n Paul Giamatti<\/strong>
The Holdovers<\/em><\/p>\n

\n He plans to focus his attention back on his Chinwag<\/em> podcast and a potential expansion that could include a book club, TV series and live events.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n Lily Gladstone<\/strong>

\n She stars alongside Riley Keough in the Hulu true-crime series Under the Bridge<\/em>, debuting in April. She also filmed a role in Morrisa Maltz\u2019s Jazzy<\/em>, the follow-up feature to her 2022 project The Unknown\u00a0Country<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n The actress is set to begin shooting Markus Schleinzer\u2019s period drama Rose<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Carey Mulligan

\n The three-time Oscar nominee stars with Adam Sandler in Netflix\u2019s Spaceman<\/em>, which launched March\u00a01, and shot James Griffiths\u2019 comedy One for the Money<\/em> last year in Wales.<\/p>\n

\n The actor stars in Tim Mielants\u2019 historical drama feature Small Things Like These<\/em>, which debuted in February at the Berlin Film\u00a0Festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n
