\n Kelly Clarkson\u00a0and Peyton Manning\u00a0are bringing something new to NBC\u2018s coverage of the upcoming\u00a0Paris Olympics this summer.<\/p>\n

\n The Grammy-winning singer and the NFL legend\u00a0are set to join sports commentator Mike Tirico\u00a0to host the opening ceremony, the trio revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em> Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cI\u2019m so glad we can say it,\u201d Clarkson quipped. \u201cWe\u2019ve been holding this forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Tirico later told the host about what viewers can expect, \u201cThe opening ceremony is going to be so different and unique. Down the Seine, down the river with the athletes on a boat, so it\u2019s not the stadium where they walk in. It will incorporate Paris. And the game<\/a>s are going to be amazing as you know, swimming, gymnastics \u2026 Team USA in track and field could be incredibly strong, the Dream Team, the U.S. soccer team, the women\u2019s basketball team.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n After Jimmy Fallon said he would be watching from home, Tirico proceeded to ask Fallon if he wanted to host the Olympics closing ceremony with him. \u201cAre you serious? Is this real? I\u2019m in! I\u2019m in!\u201d Fallon responded with excitement.<\/p>\n

\n The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> has reached out to Fallon\u2019s rep to confirm if he is set to host the closing ceremony.<\/p>\n

\n Clarkson also said on The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/a><\/em> earlier, \u201cTogether we are hosting the opening ceremony for the Paris Olympic Games. You will never see these three individuals do anything else together. This is the most random thing that they\u2019ve done and I am down for the ride.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n NBC live coverage of the ceremony kicks off July 26 on NBC and Peacock at noon ET.<\/p>\n
