\n Temperatures hit a record high of 101 degrees in Denver on Saturday \u2014 but they\u2019re now predicting snow for Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The afternoon high temperature blasted past the previous Sept. 5 record of 98 degrees, set only last year, the Denver Post reported.<\/p>\n

But the Colorado capital\u2019s sweltering heat is heading for a post-Labor Day plunge.<\/p>\n

Denver residents can expect Tuesday\u2019s daytime temperatures to \u201cfall off a cliff\u201d into the 30s, the paper reported.<\/p>\n

And it will sink below freezing \u2014 28 degrees \u2014 overnight, with a massive blast of Canadian air bringing possible flurries.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
