MAGES. producer Masaki Sakari, who has been with the company since its founding as 5pb. in 2005, will leave MAGES. on March 31, he announced. <\/p>\n

\u201cIn personal news<\/a>, I will be retiring from MAGES. as of March 31,\u201d Sakari said in a tweet<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve been member since it was established as 5pb. on April 6, 2005, so I\u2019ve been here for 18 years (closer to 19 years). For now, I\u2019d like to spend my days tackling my piled-up backlog of game<\/a>s.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued<\/a>, \u201cTo everyone who supported me during my time here, and to everyone who played my games, thank you with all my heart. I would also like to thank MAGES. and all of the staff for giving me the freedom to do what I want, as well as everyone involved in development. I would also like to apologize to everyone I\u2019ve inconvenienced, as well as thank you for your kindness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, he added<\/a>, \u201cI regret not being able to see through to the console release of Ogre Tale<\/em>, and offer my humblest apologies to everyone who has been waiting. But the Xbox One, Xbox Series<\/a>, Switch, and PlayStation 4 versions have all gone gold, so please rest assured on that end.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ogre Tale<\/em> launched for PC via Steam<\/a> on August 20, 2020. The console versions have yet to be dated.<\/p>\n
