Yelawolf has reminisced of a time gone by in his official video for \u201cMake You Love Me,\u201d which you can check out below.<\/p>\n

The official video, which dropped on Friday (March 15), features the rapp<\/a>er and his friends dressed in gear straight out of Peaky Blinders<\/em>.<\/p>\n

As his would-be love interest, complete with a 1920s flapper-girl aesthetic, listens to his plan, she sips upon a dram of what appears to be Yelawolf\u2019s proprietary whiskey, Creek Water American Whiskey<\/a>, before hitting him with a double-cross that finds his would-be friends beating him up and tossing him into a shallow grave.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe likes the old school, she loves an outcast,<\/em>\u201d he raps. \u201cThese trends are old news<\/a>, these bands are so bad\/ These boys are lurkin\u2019, I\u2019ll show you throw back\/ My whiskey glass is empty, yo, hold that\/ The powder coated Chevelle that I parked in the alley\/ Got a seat in it for your body, if you want it that loudly\/ I\u2019ll kick it, take it to you\/ We can jump a Bama to Cali, sample each other like a charcuterie\/ You and me packin\u2019?\/ Pack it up, bitch.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

\"HHDX\"Yelawolf<\/div>\n

Yelawolf released \u201cEverything,\u201d the first track from his forthcoming new album, last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything\u201d marks Yela\u2019s return to Hip Hop for the first time in nearly three years. The track serves as the lead single to War Story<\/em>, which is due out later this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hear people, from time to time, tell me that I\u2019m underrated or under-appreciated<\/em>,\u201d Yela begins on the song. \u201cAnd, to a certain extent, that\u2019s flattery and endearing\/ But I also use it as a source of inspiration to keep, keep fuckin\u2019 y\u2019all up<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n

Announced in November of last year, Yelawolf\u2019s\u00a0War Story\u00a0<\/em>boasts contradicting sides:\u00a0Trunk Muzik 4Ever<\/em>, which is produced by his right-hand WLPWR; and\u00a0Michael Wayne<\/em>, produced by Malay.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The project marks Yelawolf\u2019s first solo rap album since 2021\u2019s\u00a0Mud Mouth<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 2022\u2019s\u00a0Sometimes Y<\/em>\u00a0with Shooter Jennings saw him pivot to rock.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just so fueled to rap again. My tank got refilled, so to speak, and it turned out I had a lot to say,\u201d he told SPIN<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI would love to see a place in Hip Hop for me to elevate and to bring the quality of the music and what we\u2019ve put together to the forefront of the mainstream.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yelawolf added his hopes for the project: \u201cI would like for Drake fans, Kendrick Lamar fans, Three 6 Mafia fans, Future fans, XXXTentacion fans \u2014 I think it would be rad for me if the younger generation would take a hold of the project.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
