Two new key visuals have been released for the upcoming <\/span>Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc<\/span><\/i> TV anime<\/a> series<\/a>, which will begin airing in Japan sometime in July 2024.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The two visuals highlight the Justice and the Demon team of fighters featured in the series.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Akira Sato<\/b> (<\/span>Aoashi<\/span><\/i>) is directing the new anime series, with <\/span>Makoto Fukami<\/b> (<\/span>Tengoku-Daimakyo<\/span><\/i>) as series screenwriter, <\/span>Hirotaka Marufuji<\/b> (<\/span>Lupin the 3rd Part 6<\/span><\/i>) as character designer, and <\/span>Yasuharu Takanashi<\/b> (<\/span>Naruto Shippuden<\/span><\/i> co-composer) as music composer. <\/span>Production I.G <\/b>is handling the animation production.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Voice actor <\/span>Mamoru Miyano<\/b> is voicing the titular character for <\/span>Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc<\/span><\/i>, with\u00a0 The original Kinnikuman<\/span> Akira Kamiya<\/b> voicing Kinniku Mayumi (Kinnikuman\u2019s father) and Prince Kamehame (Kinnikuman\u2019s master).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>latest entry in the Kinnikuman series<\/span> commemorates the original <\/span>Kinnikuman<\/span><\/i> anime\u2019s 40th anniversary. The first TV anime series from Toei Animation aired from April 3, 1983 to October 1, 1986 for a total of 137 episodes. The series also inspired a 1984 special episode and the 1991 <\/span>Kinnikuman: Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsu-hen<\/span><\/i> series, which has 46 episodes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2002, another Kinnikuman anime series was licensed by 4Kids Entertainment and aired on the Fox Box programming block under the title <\/span>Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy<\/span><\/i>. The first season aired for a total of 51 episodes in 2002. The second season contained 26 episodes and aired from 2003 to 2004. Discotek Media<\/a> licensed both seasons and released the full 77-episode series on Blu-ray in 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
