\n Actor Michael Rooker is speaking out about his time in isolation after testing positive for the novel coronavirus.<\/p>\n

The \u201cWalking Dead\u201d star took to his Facebook<\/a> account on Friday to share \u201cgreat news\u201d with the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf ya\u2019ll aint figured out by now why I\u2019ve been isolating in this crazy awesome Airstream of mine, let me help y\u2019all out by saying I\u2019ve been fighting off COVID-19,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI have to let y\u2019all know it has been quite a battle. And as in any war, ALL is fair. And in the middle of this epic battle I\u2019ve come to the conclusion that there aint a whole heck of a lot one can do externally, to fight off COVID-19 once it has gotten into your body. This is my personal opinion, definitely not the conclusion of some scientific study.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d actor went on to inform fans he did not take \u201cany extra medicines or vitamins or supplements.\u201d He said he feared that if he did take any of those things it would \u201cdo me damage as kidneys and liver would have been gravely tressed.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said there were days he felt \u201clike crap\u201d and others where he felt \u201cpretty dang good, semi human in fact.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then shared the positive news that he\u2019s \u201cwon the WAR\u201d and shared a negative test result for the coronavirus, dated Sept. 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cBottom line,\u201d the actor wrote, \u201cit ended up getting its a\u2013 knocked out!\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cCovid put up a pretty good fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rooker joins a now-lengthy list of celebrities who have tested positive for the coronavirus. Most recently, Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson confirmed he, his wife, and their two children received positive diagnoses.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
