Some Asian regions will be able to watch the upcoming Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf<\/i><\/em> anime<\/a> on Netflix beginning April 2, the streaming platform has revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The news<\/a> arrived after the release of the show\u2019s main trailer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kraft Lawrence is a young peddler who meets Holo, who calls herself the “Wise Wolf”. Together they embark on an adventure across a realm of fantasy and wonder\u2728<\/p>\n

Spice and Wolf<\/em> is based on the Dengeki Bunko light novel series<\/a> written by Isuna Hasekura<\/strong>\u00a0and illustrated by\u00a0Juu Ayakura<\/strong>, which began in 2006 and has 24 volumes as of January 2023. A previous TV anime begin airing in 2008 and had a second season in 2009.<\/span><\/p>\n

The life of a travel<\/a>ing merchant is a lonely one, a fact with which Kraft Lawrence is well acquainted. Wandering from town to town with just his horse, cart, and whatever wares have come his way, the peddler has pretty well settled into his routine-that is, until the night Lawrence finds a wolf goddess asleep in his cart. Taking the form of a fetching girl with wolf ears and a tail, Holo has wearied of tending to harvests in the countryside and strikes up a bargain with the merchant to lend him the cunning of \u201cHolo the Wisewolf\u201d to increase his profits in exchange for taking her along on his travels. What kind of businessman could turn down such an offer? Lawrence soon learns, though, that having an ancient goddess as a traveling companion can be a bit of a mixed blessing. Will this wolf girl turn out to be too wild to tame?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
