Playboi Carti has debuted a new look which has gotten quite a reaction from his fans and drawn comparisons to fictional characters including Wednesday Addams.<\/p>\n

The controversial rapp<\/a>er took to his Instagram Live on Friday (March 22) to showed off straight, jet-black hair, which had been parted down the middle and styled into two long braids that went down the side of his face and onto his chest.<\/p>\n

This prompted a flurry of comments on X, formerly known as Twitter<\/a>, in response. \u201cThis n-gga want to be passed around like the Hors d\u2019oeuvres tray at the Diddy function,\u201d wrote one commenter<\/a>, while another user wrote<\/a>, \u201cBro wanna be Sexxy Redd so bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

And still another remarked<\/a>, \u201cWhat i don\u2019t get is why ? Its one thing to be a rebel and different person different from the norm .. But at what point do you look at your self in the mirror and say \u2018this might be a little too much \u2018 amy [sic] more and dude gonna look like Whitney Houston god test her soul.\u201d<\/p>\n

The music video for Future\u00a0and\u00a0Metro Boomin\u2018s \u201cType Shit,\u201d on which Playboi Carti appears alongside Travis Scott, went live on Friday (March 22), adding to the hype surrounding the new album WE DON\u2019T TRUST YOU<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In it, the four trap titans can be seen surrounded by their crew \u2014 including Ken Carson,\u00a0Doe Boy\u00a0and\u00a0CashXO, among others \u2014 as they switch roles and jam out to the song in a parking lot and strip<\/a> club.<\/p>\n

Future and Metro Boomin\u2019s new record also includes a song called \u201cLike That\u201d with a surprise feature from\u00a0Kendrick Lamar. On it,\u00a0the former TDE rapper takes a number of shots at his peers, kicking things off with a mention of\u00a0Drake\u00a0and\u00a0J. Cole\u2018s No. 1 single \u201cFirst Person Shooter\u201d with accusations of \u201csneak dissin.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, get up with me\/ Fuck sneak dissin\u2019, first person shooter\/ I hope they came with three switches<\/em>,\u201d he raps.<\/p>\n

K.Dot then directly references \u201cthe big three\u201d (a term commonly used in reference to him, Drizzy and Cole being modern Hip Hop\u2019s primary stakeholders), claiming he\u2019s the only one atop the rap chain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
