Sunrise, FL –\u00a0<\/span>Drake has app<\/a>eared to respond to Kendrick Lamar\u2018s recent diss against him with a defiant speech during a performance.<\/p>\n

During his second of two shows in Sunrise, Florida on his Big As the What? Tour on Sunday (March 24), Drizzy addressed the crowd and seemed to reference the shots that Kendrick took at him and J. Cole on Future and Metro Boomin\u2018s \u201cLike That.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drizzy delivered a message of defiance to the audience, saying: \u201cA lot of people ask me how I\u2019m feeling\u2026 I\u2019ma let you know I\u2019m feeling. Listen, the same way I\u2019m feeling is the same way I want you to walk out this building tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI got my fucking head up high, my back straight, I\u2019m 10 fucking toes down in Florida and anywhere else I go,\u201d he added, his voice growing louder and more aggressive. \u201cAnd I know that no matter what, there\u2019s not a n-gga on this Earth that could ever fuck with me in my life!\u201d<\/p>\n

Drake officially addresses Kendrick Lamar on stage <\/p>\n

Appearing on Future and Metro\u2019s recently released joint album We Don\u2019t Trust You<\/em>, Kendrick Lamar launched an attack on his two contemporaries with a scathing guest verse on the Three 6 Mafia-sampling \u201cLike That.\u201d<\/p>\n

K. Dot started by referencing Drake and Cole\u2019s number one single \u201cFirst Person Shooter,\u201d rapping: \u201cYeah, get up with me\/ Fuck sneak dissin\u2019, first person shooter\/ I hope they came with three switches.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

He then dismissed the notion that the Toronto and North Carolina natives were his equals, spitting: \u201cThink I won\u2019t drop the location? I still got PTSD\/ Muthafuck the big three, n-gga, it\u2019s just big me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Kendrick also made reference to Drizzy\u2019s album For All the Dogs<\/em>: \u201cN-gga, bum, \u2018fore all your dogs gettin\u2019 buried\/ That\u2019s a K with all these nines, he gon\u2019 see Pet Sematary.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper also said: \u201cAnd your best work is a light pack\/ N-gga, Prince outlived Mike Jack.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

J. Cole originally namedropped Kendrick on \u201cFirst Person Shooter\u201d while addressing the long-running \u201cbig three\u201d debate: \u201cLove when they argue the hardest MC\/ Is it K. Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?\/ We the big three like we started a league, but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Cole has yet to comment on Kendrick\u2019s \u201cLike That\u201d verse but the two have a long history with it being rumored at one point that they were working on a joint album.<\/p>\n

Addressing the long-awaited project last year, the Dreamville leader confirmed that they had concrete plans to record together but said their respective careers got in the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt one point, it was a real thing,\u201d he said on Lil Yachty\u2018s A Safe Place<\/em> podcast. \u201cBut bro, time and life, we ain\u2019t ever got the chance to go in and do it correctly because that would take time.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us to do something that\u2019s full of our potential, that meets our real potential, you\u2019re gonna need time. At least a year. When you got two successful artists with lives and families, that\u2019s hard to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cWe put it to bed years ago. But at one point in time, it was a real conversation, for sure \u2026 It\u2019s not like it\u2019s a ton of songs. It\u2019s not like it\u2019s some album sitting on the shelf somewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
